# Update the HelloReport mobile app

### Update the HelloReport mobile app

When we release a new version of HelloReport, it's important all users update their app for optimal performance. We'll let you know when a new version is available, but if you think you've missed the update, simply search for HelloReport on the App Store/Play Store and tap **update**.

### Finding your current app version

When raising a query with us on the live chat, we may ask for your current app version. If this is the case, sometimes it's difficult to find this information on your device's app store. Instead, you can find the app version on your HelloReport app.

1. On the app homepage, tap on the **settings cog** in the top right corner.

2. The app version is located towards the bottom of the screen. When letting a member of our team know which version you're using, please also **include the numbers in the brackets**.
