# How to set up the Street integration

### Integrate with Street

The Street integration imports an agency’s Street lettings properties into HelloReport and sends every finished report PDF to the matching property in Street automatically.

·       **Who can set it up:** account owners and admins. Assessors can see the Street status on a report and resend it, but can’t connect Street or link properties.

·       **What you need:** a Street account with permission to create API keys, and about 10 minutes.

·       **What it does:** imports lettings properties (not sales), links them to the properties you already have, and attaches each final report PDF to the property in Street as a private document. Draft reports are never sent.

·       **What it won’t do:** it never deletes or edits your existing HelloReport properties, and it never imports more properties than your plan allows.

**Create an Open API key in Street**

In Street, create an **application** with the **Open API** scope. Its access token is the key HelloReport needs to read your properties and attach reports.

1. Sign in to Street as a user who can manage applications.
2. Open **Settings**, then **Applications**. It’s under the **Account Administration** heading in the left-hand menu.
3. Under **Create new application**, fill in:

**-Application Name:** for example HelloReport.
**-API Token Scope:** choose **Open API**.
**-Contact Name** and **Contact Email Address:** the person Street should contact about API changes.
-Click **Create Application**, then copy the application’s access token. You’ll paste it into HelloReport in the next step

**Choose Open API as the scope.** Street also offers other token types, such as Property Feed for website listings. They look similar but don’t give access to properties and documents, and HelloReport will reject them.

**Connect Street in HelloReport**

Paste the key into HelloReport and click **Save changes**. HelloReport checks the key with Street straight away.

1. In HelloReport, go to **Account → Company → Integrations → Street**.
2. Paste the Open API key into **Street Open API key**.
3. Click **Save changes**.
