# How to integrate with SME Professional

### Integrate with SME Professional


1. Contact SME Professional who will provide you with an API key.


2. On the HelloReport website, go to **Account**  in the top right corner and select **Settings**.

3. In Settings, click the **Integrations** tab. Here you can input the API key.

4. Copy and paste the API Key into the text box.

5. Change the integration status by using the drop down menu and selecting **Active**.

6. Click **Save Changes**. To sync your properties to HelloReport, select **Sync Properties**.

|| SME and HelloReport automatically sync once a day.

||| Before syncing with SME, we recommend ensuring the first address line and postcode of all property addresses match those in SME. If **address line 1 and the postcode** vary between HelloReport and SME, duplication will not be detected. In some cases this can cause duplicated properties in HelloReport.
